Morocco’s FM starts friendship and work visit in Senegal

first_imgDakar – Morocco’s minister of foreign affairs and cooperation, Salaheddine Mezouar, started on Sunday a work and friendship visit to Senegal where he will be received by president Macky Sall.Mezouar will also meet with Senegalese peer, Mankeur Ndiaye, and with chairwoman of the economic, social and environment council, Aminata Tall.The Moroccan official told MAP the two African countries are united by “brotherly and friendly” ties, in harmony with the vision of HM King Mohammed VI to consolidate South-South political, cultural and economic partnership. “Senegal, an allied country, has always supported with determination our national cause and Morocco’s territorial integrity”, he stressed recalling that the exchange of visits between HM the King and the Senegalese president have helped the two countries move forward farther in building a model relation for south-South partnership and consolidated economic links and investments.last_img
